The city’s water system was well-developed, and it has always been known as the “Mountain Water City”. Legend has it that when Guo Pu was surveying the land, a white deer with flowers in its mouth passed by, which was seen as a good omen, and thus the city was named “Lu Cheng” (Deer City). The Zhonghai Luzhou Mansion project is the first entry of the brand into Wenzhou. It is located in the core area of the city, surrounded by the Jiuguan Mountain, and caters to a geographically targeted customer base with a certain economic foundation, such as white-collar couples and families who value quality of life. As the sales centre, the challenge for the design team was how to establish a connection with the project while being located on the 51st floor of the landmark building of Wenzhou, the World Trade Building, which is several blocks away. Karv One Design, along with the LSD team who excels in soft furnishing aesthetics, took “city” as the theme and used Wenzhou’s rich historical context to connect the sales centre in the sky with the residences that are close to people’s lives, weaving a dream about the future of this thousand-year-old city.
