L Entering the Dream “Conveying the possibilities of life” has always been the brand spirit of YAN JI YOU. Karv One Design takes books as the clue, fits the “future” theme, and expresses exploratory design throughout 9 business formats, including book/product/coffee/restaurant/hair salon/lecture/children/supermarket/handmade experience in different spaces. Space design has always been a supporting role in architecture, but Karv One design takes a different approach by cleverly incorporating architecture into the space, creating a breakthrough expression of the characteristic book area. The geometric space structure and iron mesh running through the book area create a powerful support in this future world. This is also the spirit that the design and the brand hope to express together – the infinite possibilities of the future. Dreamland What will the future be like? Imagination and possibility, and the vast world in the distance. Humans continue to explore outer space, inspired by the future. Karv One focuses the “future” theme on space design with science fiction elements. This experience, which feels like being in outer space, comes from a narrow space of only 30 meters. This is the only café in the store. Karv One takes inspiration from the “space capsule” and uses a single line to break through the oppression and constraints of the entire long space, fully adapting to the environment. The black and white tones are calm and profound, providing a space for rest and contemplation. Chasing Dreams The culture carried by books itself represents a journey towards the future. The relatively narrow space next to the café is designed as a characteristic book area with imaginative “space capsule” elements. Walking in it is like traveling through a vast sea of books in a space capsule, exploring the civilization of the future. Making Dreams Children represent new life and good wishes, and they are also the future generation in growing up. In this area, the “future” is more expressed through space design to stimulate children’s imagination and curiosity, using fairy tale-like, cute, and diverse visual elements to stimulate interaction between children and the space. Inspiring Dreams The future offers many possibilities. The lecture area as a space places more emphasis on communication and interaction between people. It is a place where diverse thoughts and voices interweave, and in the “future” design, it emphasizes the independence of the space and the portability of communication within the space.
